And what's more, the dream that comes to her now is one of overwhelming beauty. A fairy king has come, wearing a crown of precious stone.

In just a few moments, Heurodis will bolt awake in sheer terror, scratching at her face and tearing at her clothes. But for now, her slumber continues…

Taken from a scene in the medieval story of Sir Orfeo, this print is featured in our sixth issue, Fairy Tales, where it accompanies a piece on the medieval conception of Faerie, the perilous realm itself.
