An illustrated timeline of the history of fairy tales, stretching back thousands of years right up until fantastical 20th century novels like The Hobbit.

The early dates are based on evidence from research undertaken by Durham University anthropologist Dr Jamie Tehrani and folklorist Sara Graça da Silva, from New University of Lisbon. From there we jump to some of the first written tales and anthologies, tracing forwards to famous storytellers like Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm.

This is a high quality digital A3 print and is printed on heavyweight 300gsm natural recycled card stock. It comes signed and embossed.
